Cozy ambiance from the fireplace, but the shower lacked adequate hot water.

The fireplace adds a cozy touch to the colder nights, and there’s an electrical heater available for those frigid evenings. The historic charm of the area is palpable, showcased by the antique furniture and distinctive architecture.
While the steep road access makes it motorable, it can be quite a workout for those with luggage. The breakfast offerings are sparse and lack variety, and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The cleanliness could use some serious attention, given the persistent black stains on the floors from past decades. In the Deluxe Triple Room, the shower didn’t deliver proper hot water, which was a letdown. Lastly, the parking situation is less than ideal, leaving no spots available inside the property.

I enjoyed my stay in the Deluxe Triple Room, particularly the cozy ambiance created by the fireplace. the breakfast options were quite limited, and the shower could have been more effective. It's a great choice for families looking for a comfortable spot but improvements in dining variety and bathroom amenities would enhance the experience.
